OUR PROJECTS

AMMAN INDONESIA SUMBAWA COPPER SMELTING PROJECT

The Amman project is the world’s 9th largest and Indonesia’s 2nd largest copper-gold mine. In response to the Indonesian government’s push for domestic industrial upgrading and the ban on raw ore exports, Amman Mineral launched the construction of a copper smelter on Sumbawa Island in 2021, with China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group (CNMC) serving as the EPC contractor. Huanya Logisnet joined the project in 2023, undertaking the trading and transportation of cement and rebar.
It is worth noting that before our involvement, the project continuously suffered from material shortages, and logistics constraints were the primary factor delaying construction progress. The site frequently experienced work stoppages due to insufficient supply of construction materials. Since Huanya Logisnet took over the cement and rebar supply in July 2023, the project has never experienced another material shortage, ensuring steady construction progress. Today, the Amman copper smelting plant has become the first operational copper smelter in Indonesia, marking the successful implementation of one of the world’s most advanced copper-smelting technologies in the country.
OUR SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDED:
  • Cement sales: 80,000 tons

  • Rebar sales: 3,500 tons

  • Cement transportation: 180,000 tons

  • Rebar transportation: 23,000 tons

  • Full logistics services including port unloading, land transportation, and warehousing.

HANGZHOU JINJIANG WEST KALIMANTAN ALUMINA PROJECT

Hangzhou Jinjiang Group is a leading enterprise in China’s aluminum industry, headquartered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The company has planned a total alumina production capacity of 6 million tons per year in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, with Phase I designed for 1 million tons per year and Phase II for 2 million tons per year.
Phase I construction commenced in March 2024. As the appointed logistics service provider, Huanya Logisnet undertook the entire cargo vessel transportation of cement, rebar, and other construction materials for the project.
Our completed logistics scope includes:
  • Cement transportation: 160,000 tons

  • Rebar transportation: 15,000 tons

Phase II officially began in early 2025, and Huanya Logisnet continues to be a key logistics partner. In addition to cargo vessel shipping, we have also taken on barge transportation of coal and bauxite, further expanding the depth and breadth of cooperation with Hangzhou Jinjiang. Through this partnership, Huanya Logisnet is supporting the successful overseas development and investment of one of China’s leading aluminum enterprises in Indonesia.

EAST KALIMANTAN HONGSHI CEMENT PLANT PROJECT

Hongshi Cement is one of China’s leading private cement enterprises, consistently maintaining top-tier domestic sales performance. The East Kalimantan Hongshi Cement Plant has a planned total production capacity of 8 million tons per year, with Phase I at 4 million tons and Phase II increasing the capacity to 8 million tons per year. Since 2024, Huanya Logisnet has established comprehensive cooperation with Hongshi East Kalimantan Factory across multiple sectors.
Our scope of services includes:
  • Barge transportation of raw materials for cement production

  • Door-to-door international logistics for equipment required in the Phase II construction

  • Supply and transportation of steel materials for Phase II

  • Sales and transportation of Hongshi cement products

Upon completion and commissioning of Phase II, Hongshi Cement East Kalimantan Factory will become the largest cement producer in Indonesia, and one of the most competitive cement enterprises in the entire Southeast Asia region. Through close cooperation with Hongshi Cement, Huanya Logisnet is committed to ensuring the rapid and steady advancement of Hongshi’s East Kalimantan cement Factory operations in Indonesia.

MENTARANG HYDROPOWER STATION PROJECT - POWERCHINA SINOHYDRO

The Mentarang Hydropower Station is invested and developed by Indonesian industrial giant Adalo, with POWERCHINA Sinohydro serving as the EPC contractor. Upon completion, it will become the largest hydropower plant in Southeast Asia, supplying low-cost electricity to Adalo’s alumina and aluminum smelting lines in North Kalimantan.
This project requires record-breaking quantities of construction materials such as cement and rebar—setting new benchmarks for material consumption in Indonesia. Huanya Logisnet began participating in the cement supply for the project in the second half of 2024 and has now taken on almost the entire end-to-end logistics chain for project materials. Huanya has also signed a terminal operation cooperation agreement with Adalo, under which the project’s dedicated material-handling jetty will be operated by Huanya Logisnet.
Over the next 7–8 years, the Mentarang Hydropower Station will remain one of Huanya’s core long-term projects. We are fully committed to ensuring the successful delivery of this landmark Chinese-engineered infrastructure development in Indonesia.
